Third bedroom of 3-bed 1-bath condo in JP

A newly renovated 3-bed 1-bath condo unit on the second floor of a house in Jamaica Plain.


The unit has a sizable kitchen (with a connected pantry), living room, and dining room, plus porches in both the front and back. Each bedroom has at least... one closet, plus additional storage space in the basement. The basement also contains a washer and dryer unit which are specific to our unit.

Heating is provided by oil, but there isn’t an AC system yet—though we intend to remedy that as soon as we can. We also intend to remove the tiny mounted microwave in the kitchen at some point to free up the space it blocks off.

And on top of those internal features, the unit is in a pretty great location too. It’s within easy walking distance of the Orange Line, the 38/39 bus lines, and the Southwest Corridor Park bike path. There are also a number of different stores right around the corner, including several restaurants and at least one grocery store.


Despite being a 3-bedroom condo, we are only renting out one of the bedrooms; my cousin and I will be staying in the other two. The rent for it will be $1100/month, plus covering 1/3 of the utility bills (electric, gas, oil payments, and wifi).
