April 1st, Newtonville, 3 fl townhouse with 3 BRs, each with private bath. Looking for male mid-20’s to 30’s roommate who wants to earn $32/hr to provide light evening support by grocery shopping and cooking dinner for me and possibly another (male)... roommate. I need support in planning healthy meals, getting groceries and cutting & chopping all the healthy ingredients that go into a dinner meal with veggies and salad. I like to help with clean-up, but sometimes I need some quality control on this. :) This is a new arrangement for me, but likely the hours would be approximately 5:30-8pm Sunday – Thursday, plus some time for grocery shopping. (10-12 hrs/week) Ideally you would share with me the dinner that you've cooked – with natural exceptions for Zoom calls that shift the hour I'm available to eat. There are currently two different BR/Bath suite combinations options, one worth $1300/mo (lower level) and the other $1600 (2nd fl). Rent includes utilities and Wifi (a $150/mo value). Each BR has walk-in closets and room for a large desk. Townhouse is very quiet, appropriate for studying. Your income would likely cover value of rent. The townhouse is very sunny on three sides, with an eat-in kitchen; open LR/DR cathedral ceiling; laundry; home gym; outdoor patio and dedicated, uncovered parking in rear. Central A/C. 1 block from village of Newtonville; 5 minute walk to MBTA Commuter Rail and buses. Me: I'm very involved in the Newton community through politics, advocacy for people with disabilities and church volunteer work. I also love musical theatre and community concerts.
