Looking for a 3rd Roommate in the Heart of Somerville!

Hey! We’re looking for a sublet to join our 3-bedroom apartment in Somerville. Ideal move-in date is June 1st (earlier or later is possible if needed), with the potential to join the lease in August. Here’s the breakdown:

Location:

- 5-minute walk...
to Ball Square (Green Line)
- 15-20 minute walk to Davis or Porter Square (Red Line)

The Apartment:

- Rent: $1,000 (water and gas included)
- Utilities: Around $145/month (less in warmer months)
- Room: 10.5’x12.5’ with a 1.5’x5’ closet
- In-unit: Dishwasher
- Laundry: In-building basement
- No pets allowed
- No smoking

Accessibility:

- 2nd-floor apartment with a narrow walk-up, but a wider staircase leading to the porch

Chores:

- We clean the house together on a pre-agreed time each month, covering tasks like vacuuming, wiping down counters, cleaning the bathroom, and laundering shared items like hand towels and the bathmat.
- Each person is responsible for cleaning up after themselves throughout the month. We’re pretty flexible with glasses and dishes left out for a day or two, but we expect food to be cleaned up right away to avoid attracting ants/mice.
- The two of us share groceries (alternating shopping weekends) to save time and space in the fridge. You’re welcome to join in but it’s not required.

About Us:

Lucas (27): I work for an educational outreach program and love staying active in my free time, whether that's working out, listening to music, or playing in one of several sports leagues (football, basketball, or soccer depending on the season). I’m always up for a night out, but I also enjoy staying in to cook, read, or watch a good movie. Open communication is really important to me.

Henry (29): I do IT support for schools. I enjoy reading, playing guitar, and watching movies. I'm also into DnD.

If this sounds like a good fit, text us at 609-613-6702 and tell us a bit about yourself. Looking forward to hearing from you!
