connected area with excellent public transit access and a school shuttle stop nearby. Quiet and ideal for focused grad student living. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in the house.
Two buses, UMD shuttle 143 (3 mins walk) and C2 (10 mins walk max) that connect directly to campus. Three buses 83, 86, and 17 that connect you to most places for shopping and groceries. They also take you up to Looney’s, which is 2 mins walk from Iribe or AV Williams for ECE and CS majors.
It is 10 mins by bike or car till campus and 10 mins to the nearest metro. Both 83 and 86 take you to the nearest metro station.
There will be two furnished rooms out of 5 total rooms available for one year starting August 1st for grad students, postdocs or working professionals. The kitchen is fully equipped and an in-unit laundry is available. Huge common living and dining areas. Each room is $780 monthly plus utilities (around $60 monthly). The security deposit is one month rent. These two rooms share a bathroom and there is also a half bathroom available for use. There is one available parking spot for rent.
