I'm looking for a roommate to replace my last one and occupy a private furnished bedroom in a 2 bedroom 1 ba unit in Allston.

- Your share of the rent would be $1250/mo + utilities (electric, internet, gas)

-... Lease starting 01/01/2025 and would end 08/31/2025, but can be renewed.

- Living areas have been furnished with basics (couch, chairs, table, TV, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, bathroom essentials, plates, cutlery, pots, pans etc.) for shared use. You can also bring your own stuff if you're attached to personal belongings.

- The vacant bedroom has also been furnished by the prior tenant (3 month old mattress, box frame, desk, office chair, nightstands, coathangers, shoe rack, space heater etc.). Feel free to bring your own stuff if you don't like what's in the room.

- 5 mins walk to a Trader Joe's, Star Market, Starbucks, and Dunkin

- 5 mins walk from bus stop for 66, 70, and 86 route. 15 mins walk from Boston landing station.

- Apartment has a private patio great for hosting (and a grill for BBQ)

- Laundry room available in the building (Coin-op)

- Assigned parking available on site for an extra $120/mo

- First and last months rent required.

- NO application fee but landlord will run a credit check on you (or your guarantor if you're a student).

- No pets allowed.

About me: 25 years old from Cali and a grad student Simmons University. I'm friendly and can get along with just about most people. I'm usually up early in the AM for a run, then I'm off to campus for most of the day during the week. I get home in the evenings, make a quick dinner and usually watch something or study till 11.

I don't have a specific preference for roommates and I'm flexible with most living arrangements if you just communicate upfront any of your priorities. I keep a tidy place and will clean up after myself. I don't really smoke but I'm open to living with someone who does (outside). Happy to hang or let you do your thing, but prefer if we don't regularly bring the crowd back home.
